Expand your consciousness through your chakras

Aug 31, 2026

Today's topic is about seeing our 7 chakras as openings into the self. When you follow me, you know that I say we are more than we think we are. We are more than just a body, an egoic mind, a soul, and a spirit. We are also an energetic being.  We have depth and dimension, and each of the 7 layers of our human aura that surrounds us, beyond our physical body, reflects aspects of who we are and what we are going through in our life situations

What is our aura?  We have a physical body, and around it is our aura energy. Within that aura are seven layers that represent aspects of ourselves. These are seven subtle bodies, each with its own major chakra, and it's through these chakras we access the dimensions of who we are.

We want to explore these dimensions to bring our attention back to the self. We take our attention off all the stuff going on in the egoic mind and in our life situations and, for a minute, bring it back to the body. We explore who we are, recognize our depth, and access those perceptions. There are perceptions within our chakras. We assimilate information through our chakras, so we want them to function well. We can help them function well when we pay attention to them and use them as openings into the self. When our attention is on the chakra, and we explore it, we are exploring a dimension of our being.

We want to be able to access these chakra points within the subtle bodies because they are where we can access the information in the chakra and work with it. Through this, we can release aspects we don't want or that are hurting us, restore the chakra, and restore the energetic bodies. This brings health, ease, and comfort into the energetic body and into the physical body as well. We do this through these openings, through the chakras.

  • So when you do the chakra work with me—whether through my chakra meditation app, joining my live meditation in my meditation membership, or working with me in a session—you’re going to see that each chakra has distinct characteristics.

Each of your 7 chakras has its own unique qualities. They hold different aspects of our identities and specific issues because they are connected to different aspects of our being. Each chakra will have its own color and elements unique to that chakra, and the chakra affirmations for each of the chakras are different.  Knowing these characteristics allows us to heal and activate our chakras.

We are multidimensional beings having a life experience across multiple dimensions. We want to understand these dimensions so we can work with them to bring about positive results in our physical lives and experiences.

The primary goal when I do these meditations with people is to bring healing, wisdom, understanding, self-love, and self-acceptance. I want to help you get back into the body and out of the egic mind and the life situation. One way we do this is through a meditation program that helps us focus our attention on these dimensions of who we are. This is our life. This is our body. This is our energy field. We want to have this intimacy with the self. By having intimacy with the self, we can then have healthy intimacy with others.

Through our chakra system, we come to understand ourselves and cultivate self-awareness and self-acceptance, giving ourselves the greatest opportunity to love ourselves and experience life from a broader perspective.  We gain direct experience of our expanded consciousness, access information from the chakras, and use it to bring about the results we want in our lives. We can tap into dimensions within our energetic field that open up parts of our subtle energy system that have been restricted.

Through meditation practice, we can move the blocks in our human aura. Sometimes we have restrictions in our energetic system. When we explore them, we can move beyond those restrictions, which can translate into physical health and well-being. Sometimes, in this work, when we release holding patterns, memories, traumas, or even just imprints within the system, we create health in our personal energy system.

We bring health and vitality into that space, and it can take pressure off the physical body. I have worked with people who were able to move different aches and pains out of their bodies because those aches and pains were coming from what was happening in the energetic realm.

This is why we want to explore these spiritual dimensions of ourselves: to produce higher states of health, ease, and comfort—and even that “fountain of youth” people are looking for. We can find that in the chakras. When we have fluid movement through the chakras, when they are open, bright, healthy, vibrating, circulating, and pulsating at the right rhythm and pace, they bring life force energy into the physical body. They bring health, ease, and comfort into the body.

When we come to life from a healthy, balanced chakra system, things are different. Things feel different. We experience life differently. We have different filters—or sometimes no filters. We have better filters, ones that allow us to see life from a different perspective.

My intention for you is to help you access these dimensions of yourself so you have far more conscious, creative control over the quality of your life and the health of your body. I want to help you get back into the moment, become present, be less reactive and more responsive, feel good and feel empowered, and get you back to yourself.

One way to do this is to introduce you to these dimensions of who you are so you can access these aspects of yourself in a healthy, grace-based space. This gives you an opportunity to look within in a way that makes you feel safe accessing and working with these dimensions. You can also understand that you are greater than anything that's in these dimensions. Your energy systems, your energetic bodies, your energetic systems, your physical body, your aura—this is your space. It is appropriate for you to explore these aspects of yourself.

Empower yourself to be the one who directs how energy runs and how energy flows. You get to determine what is held in your chakras. First, you have to look at the chakras. You have to explore them and hold a positive intention. We do all of that through the meditation program. Then we begin clearing the chakras and determining which patterns are held where. If they are not good patterns for us, we let them go. If it's better to have free space and no patterns, we let everything go. If it’s helpful to have a pattern to support a goal, we can allow and cultivate a healthy pattern.

We become more deliberate about this, because the chakras are going to do what they do—just like breathing. The chakras will function whether we are conscious of them or not. We might as well be conscious of them and get to know these aspects of ourselves. It really changes how we see ourselves. When we view ourselves from these perspectives—from the sixth, seventh, or even fifth chakra—we tend to see ourselves very differently, as our perceptions change. The filters are dropping. We’re seeing ourselves more clearly.

We clear out aspects of the self that hold patterns, habits, and chains of thinking. We get to clear those things and reestablish something within ourselves. We get to touch what is authentic within us and bring that authentic nature into the physical body in ways that are palpable for you and for the people around you—because it simply feels better.

Life just feels better when our chakras are clear and functioning brightly, and when we are experiencing life with all chakras open. With a full life, we don’t have the same kinds of issues that arise when we are not functioning well. When any of our physical systems are not functioning well—like the circulatory system or the reproductive system—we are in pain or we don’t feel good, and it affects the rest of the body and the quality of our lives. The same is true with our energetic systems. When the energetic system is not functioning well, it affects the rest of the body.

So why not work with the energetic systems and understand that these are dimensions of who you are? It is worth getting to know yourself. This is your life, your body, your energy, your experience. Give yourself permission to have a full life experience. You have one life in this body; you might as well enjoy it. Enjoy the body, enjoy the experience, and have the life experiences that you’re trying to achieve. It is all there for you.

I look forward to meditating with you,
